UFC 144 Result: Mark Hunt Defeats Kongo by KO

       Most fighters would relish a first-round TKO, but Mark Hunt looked less than happy after he became to first fighter to knockout Cheick Kongo two minutes into the fight. By timing Kongo's attacks and countering cleanly, Hunt dropped him with a left hook early. He later caught Kongo with an overhand right that hit Kongo's glove against his face enough to stun him before Hunt came in for the kill with uppercuts. His discourse with Joe Rogan was curt and he left the cage politely, but unenthusiastically.
