On October 28, the CAMO state championships - southern California finals will be taking place at Palomar College in San Marcos, CA. Although the main event of the evening includes Brock Combs (6-1) versus Nick Banks (7-0), two bouts on the night will include debuting amateur talent. Cristobal Oredain (of World MMA) is set to start his career against Eduardo De Casas in the cruiser weight division (205.1-230lbs), and he expressed confidence about his chances of finishing the fight on the feet.

Also on the card is a lightweight affair between Robert Lopez (of World MMA) and Jared Laughlin (Team Quest). Lopez's background in the art of wrestling is the backbone of his move to MMA. In his debut, Lopez expressed that one of his goals during the fight is to leave a memorable impression in the minds of fans.
"I just want to go out there and have a good time," Lopez told J. Waugh (www.srmma.com). "People are going to see me, and down the line I want them to see me again."
