Welterweight champ Angelo Trevino (R) training.
Titans Cage hosts their fourth installment of owner Shawn Correa's signature style of amateur MMA. The event takes place on October 20th, in Elk Grove (CA), and will host a full fight card with four separate titles up for grabs during the evening. Angelo Trevino (3-0 CAMO) is set to defend his unbeaten record and welterweight title against the up and coming knock out specialist Armando "Sac-town" Sabala (4-0 CAMO). Trevino has two knock out finishes to counter Sabala's four consecutive knock out victories, and feels prepared for the grandness of the main event fight.
"It's a great opportunity to get my name big," Trevino told SR (www.srmma.com). "Whatever someone brings to me (in the cage) I go 100 percent."
Flyweight title fighter Steven Gruber.
The co-main event of the evening is a tremendous northern California match up between Dao Tep (3-1 Cen Cal MMA) and Steven Gruber (5-2 CAMO, Folsom MMA) for the flyweight title. Gruber, the Rebel Fighter 125lbs champion, has been on a finishing streak. He's stopped his last three CAMO opponents by finish of some sort (one by submission and two knock outs), which has Gruber very thankful to be earning recognition for his knock out talents.
"I came from small town gyms and came up with big victories. So it means a lot to me that everybody is hearing my name," Gruber told SR (www.srmma.com). "Decision is the fighter's worst enemy."

Matt Wilson (L) talking about the fight.
The lightweight title will also be up for grabs as Kristofor Garcia (team USF) takes on Kyle Bryant (Team Alpha Male). Bryant is coming off of a second round submission victory, and feels it is his time to showcase his stand up skills on such a stacked amateur card.
"I feel like this one's probably got the most talent I've seen in an amateur card in a long time," Bryant told SR (www.srmma.com). "I'm definitely not scared to strike with anybody. We'll meet in the middle and we'll see what we got."
Matt Wilson is scheduled for a match up against Eric Smith (4-1 CAMO), his training at Folsom MMA is intense and has him believing in his endurance if the fight should go the distance. But if his last two bouts are considered then it might be a short night indeed.
Angelo Vila (R) in his last bout.
"I feel my cardio is most definitely in place," Wilson told SR (www.srmma.com). "My last two fights haven't made it out of a minute. I want people to have no doubt in their mind that I left it all in the cage."
Angelo Vila (of Monstrinho BJJ) is set to take on Oscar Castro (Team Valor) in a light heavyweight match up. Both men are coming off of a victory by unanimous decision, but the one week replacement fighter Castro seems like a tougher task in Vila's opinion. Although a more difficult opponent, Vila expressed supreme confidence in his ferocious training and hopes that Castro has prepared the same way come fight night.
"He's a tougher challenge than my previous fight," Vila said to SR (www.srmma.com). "I've trained harder than ever for this so I hope he's ready to get into the cage. I am."
