UFC 152 (September 22) was littered with finishes and fan friendly fights, but the main card involved some cream of the crop talent in multiple divisions including two title fights. One of the under card bouts was between Seth Baczynski (now 18-8) and Simeon Thoresen. In a bout that Thoresen (now 17-3) was able to counter Baczynski effectively early on, it was "The Polish Pistola" who pulled out his sixth straight win. Baczynski ended the fight with a first round knock out.

Michael Bisping was able to overcome an early punch from Brian Stann (12-5) to out box, and surprisingly out wrestle, his way to a unanimous decision victory. Now that Anderson Silva is fighting Stephan Bonnar in another weight class, Bisping (now 23-4) commented on his future title shot picture.
"I was happy with it," Bisping said. "You've always got to be nervous when it goes to the judges these days. You never know what there going to do. . . I will get my shot at the title and I will be world champion one day. Trust me, I'm going no where."
