Asian MMA promotion ONE FC tweeted that it is adopting full Pride FC rules for soccer kicks, allowing kicks to the head of a downed opponent.  This was declared in the wake of the Andrei Arlovski vs. Tim Sylvia bout, where Arlovski finished Sylvia with several such kicks and the outcome was declared a no-contest.
"Effective immediately, ONE FC has adopted full PRIDE rules for soccer kicks," the organization announced via Twitter.

Another similarity between ONE FC and the Pride FC of the past is their judging systems. Rather than scoring the fight round-by-round, the winner is chosen by judges based on the overall fight. This whole-bout judging system is common among Asian promotions such as Dream and Deep. ONE FC and Pride FC also share the exact same judging criteria listed in the same order.

Any MMA fan that's missed the devastating power of soccer kicks can tune in to ONE FC's next event on October 6th, Rise of Kings. The bout will feature Shinya Aoki vs Arnaud Lepont as the headliner, and can be streamed from ONE FC's official website for $9.99.
