| HOLLIER (BLUE) VS AYALA (RED). |
"I feel I'm prepared to go anywhere in the cage," Hollier told Johnny Waugh (www.srmma.com). "(In this fight) I'm definitely looking to improve my wrestling, my ground game."
Ayala was the smaller fighter in height, something he said he is getting used to in his fight career. He used his training at Ab's Dragon Academy to push this bantamweight affair to a fast pace against the taller Hollier.

Hollier did enough to keep the judges score cards in his favor, Karl Mitchell on the other hand was able to finish his bout against Kyle Hopkins by a slick second round submission. Mitchell was becoming known for his powerful hands (now 3-0 CAMO), but Hopkins wasn't worried much about it pre-fight.

| MITCHELL (B) LANDING ON HOPKINS (R). |
"He can have powerful hands," Hopkins told Johnny Waugh (www.srmma.com). "I'm not to worried about him, he should be worried about me at this point. . . we'll see what happens."
The fists were flying passed both fighters heads early on, but Mitchell was able to land some straight shots before taking Hopkins to the mat. Mitchell got full mount but Hopkins was strong enough to power out of that position before rounds end. Mitchell got back into full mount in the second round after another successful take down. Hopkins once again powered out but this time into an arm bar attempt that eventually was too tight for Hopkins to escape, tapping out in the second. Mitchell spoke of his jiu jitsu pre-fight.![]() |

"I'm going to go in there, I'm not going to say knock him out but I'll just try to end it as soon as I can," Mitchell told Johnny Waugh (www.srmma.com). "Honestly I'll try to end it with striking, but if I get taken to the ground I train jiu jitsu so I'll do that."
J.J. Okanovich (NORCAL Fight Factory) was also able to win the WCS lightweight title in the very first round by handing Trevor Grey (3-1) his first loss. Okanovich was able to submit Grey just 1:16 into the fight and move his record to 4-1 as he picked up his third career submission victory.
