some of the podcast chat. On the most recent episode of The Verbal Scrap Podcast presented by SRMMA.COM, West Coast Fighting Championships CEO Branden Ware discussed how injuries to fighters like Kenny Ento have allowed WCFC to sign even more talent to the organization like fighter Justin Baesman to take on welterweight champion Max Griffin.
"Ento, not to take anything away from him, he's a great fighter," Ware said on Verbal Scrap (www.srmma.com). "But we really feel that Baesman and Griffin are the next phase in this area, so we're really excited to put that fight together."
Ware also went on to discuss the match up that he believes WCFC is honored to have on the card considering the later notice. Team Alpha Male fighter Anthony Avila is on a six fight winning streak according to Sherdog. He has signed on with WCFC to fight Keni Renta on the June 9th "Showdown" card in Yuba City, CA.
"I'm excited to see that (Avila vs Renta), it should be a stand up war but you never know," Ware said on Verbal Scrap (www.srmma.com). "We're excited to have Anthony (Avila). . . we're very excited to have Keni (Renta) on our card again as well."
