(CONTINUED)...PREVIEW
Tomorrow night, May 18, the Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium will be the venue for the Up & Comers 10 card. The main event includes local stand out Isaac De Jesus (9-4) taking on Adrian Diaz (4-2), but also on the card is a match up pitting Matt Clark against Richard Rigmaden (of CEN CAL MMA). Rigmaden is excited about the opportunity to put on a show for his hometown fans of Stockton, CA.
"I'm excited for this bout because it's in my home town," Rigmaden told SR (www.srmma.com). "He's a striker and likes to come forward which is going to be great for me because I'm a stand up fighter myself."
His opponent Clark may not have the best record as of yet but he is known for standing in the cage and exchanging punches. This is a trait that Rigmaden is expecting and looking forward to on fight night.
"I'm looking for a stand up knock out bout," Rigmaden told SR (www.srmma.com). "So we're going to stand in the middle of the cage and we're going to go at it."
Rigmaden said that his training with CEN CAL MMA in Stockton, CA has him prepared to do things inside the cage that his opponents may not see coming their way. He believes the expansion of his training in the gym will allow him to show fight fans a side of his game they may have yet to see.
