UFC 146, Jason "Mayhem" Miller's performance against Michael Bisping at the TUF 14 Finale was apparently poor enough to UFC brass that the match up they laid out for Miller was C.B. Dollaway. All due respect to Dollaway and the skills he possesses, but he is on a two fight losing streak and isn't a name in the middleweight division that many would associate with a step forward for Miller.
Does the UFC even like "Mayhem" Miller?

UFC officials confirmed that the two have verbally agreed to face off at UFC 146. Re-establishing some name credibility, to the fans and ZUFFA after lackluster outings in their most recent fights, is top priority for both fighters. Miller (24-8-1) gassed out early on in his fight against Bisping. After a season long feud that built on The Ultimate Fighter season 14, it was disappointing to fans and ,UFC President Dana White was absolutely unsure what the future would even be for Miller inside the octagon.
"It was bad. To be honest, and my Twitter's been blowing up with Mayhem fans blasting me, but facts are facts: It was the worst standup I've ever seen in my life. I don't know if I've ever seen standup that bad," White said."I don't even know what to call it. I've seen guys with some ring rust. Some of the punches that were thrown by Mayhem Miller in this fight, you can go to a girls Tae Bo class and see better form in standup. It was embarrassing."
Miller's last bout was 14 months before going against Bisping, Miller defeated Kazushi Sakuraba at Dream 16. White wouldn't accept any excuse for Miller's poor showing. Now Miller is taking on Dollaway, who isn't a bad opponent at all, but has lost two back to back knockout losses. Dollaway got knocked out in less than a minute by UFC middle weight contender Mark Munoz, so that loss is understandable considering Munoz was the original opponent for Chael Sonnen at UFC on FOX 3 before becoming injured. It is the second TKO loss by Dollaway to Jared Hamman last August that is most worrying about Dollaway.

Hamman has gone 2-3 in the UFC and hasn't shown the well rounded talents that many previously thought would be needed to beat the up and coming Dollaway. This make's the match up with a Miller a clear indication that this fight is going to mean contract implications for both men.  Personally, this match up shows that the UFC has alomost already given up on "Mayhem" and it will most likely take a string on 3,4,5 wins against lesser named opponents to get right with the UFC again. The UFC doesn't seem to like what Miller can put out as of late.
