But Kongo still might win.

What I see in this fight is a battle between a man who has been around the fight game for a while (Cheick Kongo) and a man who has a lot to prove (Matt Mitrione).
Kongo, who's been an MMA professional since 2001, has a lot of experience behind him.
Mid-level competitors, such as Antoni Hardonk and Pat Barry, have fallen before him.
But top-level guys, like now-champion Cain Velásquez and former-champion Frank Mir, have had no problems handling this kick-boxer.
Kongo has shown the world what he has, and as talented as he is, I don't foresee serious talk of him challenging the title anytime soon.
Mitrione on the other hand, is one of those rising talents who has simply never been tested by a big name in the sport.
He's currently 5-0 in the sport, 4 being knockouts. As decisive and dominant as these wins are, they are not names that immediately illicit respect. Christian Morecraft? Tim Hague? Good fighters, but far from the top of the heap.
